COURSE PROGRAMME

For 2007-2008 season we are planning to have at least two courses running, one starting end of November and the others to start in January. The courses will begin on the Sunday evening with a meeting to introduce everyone involved with the programme. Skiing/boarding starts on the Monday morning. The course is a 10-week programme.

Brake down week by week:

1	Resort orientation and assessment.
2	BASI Trainee Instructor Course.
3	Development of key areas.
4	Personal skills development.
5	Teaching theory and development.
6-7	Mornings spent shadowing ski school. Afternoon spent training.
8	Pre-assessment preparation.
9-10	BASI Ski/Board Instructor Training Course.

Contact time is Monday to Friday, starting at 9.00am and being on the hill till 4.00pm. There are then one - two hours of evening lectures most days to cover video analisis, skiing and teaching theory. The weekends are generally free, though this may occasionally change due to weather conditions.
