What is the minimum level of ability to attend the advanced course?
For the Level 1 & 2 Course students should be able to ski confidently on red runs linking turns
down the fall line and being in control of their speed. For the Beginner Course no skiing or boarding experience is necessary.
Are there any extra costs I should know about?
Altitudes course price includes no extra costs. In resort you are required to pay for your lunch on the
mountain and we recommend £100-£150 spending money per week.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes. However, this season Altitude Futures Gap students will receive the sought after “Ski Instructor Pro Deal” which offers up to 50% discounts on ski equipment and Smith Goggles.
Will you meet us at the Airport?
Yes, included in the cost of the course is your transfer to the resort from Geneva Airport.
Can we come for Christmas and stay in the accommodation after the course?
Altitude Futures will make every effort to organise this for you. Please request this when reserving your place on the course
What Qualification will I receive?
On successful completion of the advanced course you will be awarded with the BASI Level 1 and 2 Ski Instructor Qualification (formerly BASI 3), and a first aid qualification. The BASI qualification is recognized throughout the World. BASI is a member of the ISIA.
Can I work for Altitude Snowsports School after the course?
On successful completion of the Futures Gap Course there are opportunities to work with Altitude Snowsports School and with Interski just over the boarder in Italy.
