Altitude Snowsports School

Altitude is a young and dynamic snowsports school, set up in 2001 by former British Freestyle Team member, Chris David along with Swiss skier Yves Guyot and sponsored rider Andre Sommer. Altitude now employs over 75 instructors from different countries including: England, Switzerland, Sweden, France and Germany.

Altitude offers a range of products; skiing and snowboarding lessons, performance clinics, instructor training and new for 2007, summer activities. With excellent customer service provided by enthusiastic qualified instructors and coaches, all who want you to get the most out of your time in Verbier, Altitude has grown to become one of the largest Snowsports Schools in Verbier.

All the instructors Altitude employ hold qualifications from their countries national governing body and over half our instructors are members of the International Snowsport Instructors Association (ISIA). Altitude is a British Association of Snowsport Instructors affiliate member, receiving their highest assessment marks last season.

Altitude Snowsports School run performance ski and snowboard clinics, one to one coaching and instructor development. This is for advanced to expert skiers or snowboarders wanting to improve in any area: carving, bumps, powder, freestyle, tactical and psychological. We also run race training for novices to instructors training for the Euro Test.

The Performance team are all experienced and highly qualified coaches and are available to offer technical support and guidance before, during and after your Gap Course.

Altitude International Summer Camps is the newest addition to the Altitude family. The Summer Camps offers children aged 4-17 the opportunity of incredible adventures, life long memories, friendships and positive experiences.
